On-site SEO built for hotels and local businesses. Set your titles, descriptions, schema, and sitemap the right way — no AI, no monthly fees, and none of your data ever leaves your website.
Most SEO plugins are bloated, upsell you at every turn, or send your content off to a third-party service. Local SEO Assistant does the opposite: it covers the technical basics that actually matter for local search — and it keeps everything on your server, under your control.
Set the SEO title and meta description for every page, post, and custom post type, with a live search preview and length guidance.
Automatic JSON-LD for Organization, LocalBusiness, and Hotel / LodgingBusiness, plus WebPage, Article, Breadcrumb, and FAQ markup.
A self-hosted XML sitemap with a sitemap index for larger sites, automatically referenced in your robots.txt.
Open Graph and X / Twitter card tags with smart image fallbacks, so your links look intentional when shared.
Scan your published content for missing titles, descriptions, noindex pages, thin content, and more — then fix issues in a quick-edit popup without leaving the page.
Rule-based, on-page checks for your focus keyphrase, headings, links, images, and readability — guidance you can act on, not a black box.
No AI, no external API calls, no accounts, no license servers. Everything runs locally, so your content and settings stay on your site.
If another SEO plugin is detected, front-end output is paused automatically to prevent duplicate tags — and your settings are preserved.
We’ve been building for hospitality since 2008, and it shows. Beyond the standard local-business options, Local SEO Assistant includes dedicated lodging fields that feed proper Hotel and LodgingBusiness schema.
No onboarding calls, no configuration wizards to sit through. Install it, fill in your details, and you’re set.
Grab the ZIP, then go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin in your WordPress dashboard.
Click Activate. A new “Local SEO Assistant” menu appears in your admin sidebar.
Enter your business (and hotel) information, social profiles, and default preferences in Settings.
Use the SEO Health page to find and fix gaps, then confirm your sitemap at /local-seo-sitemap.xml.
Lightweight, standards-compliant, and built to WordPress best practices.
No. Local SEO Assistant uses traditional, rule-based checks only. It does not use artificial intelligence, and it does not send your content to any external service.

It’s not recommended — running two SEO plugins usually creates duplicate meta tags and conflicting schema. If another SEO plugin is detected, Local SEO Assistant automatically pauses its front-end output to avoid conflicts. For best results, use only one SEO plugin at a time.
Yes. In addition to standard local-business options, it includes hotel and lodging fields — check-in and check-out times, number of rooms, amenities, booking URL, and more — that feed Hotel and LodgingBusiness schema when your business type is set accordingly.
